📜 Terms of Service – Enchanted Ink & Play

Welcome to Enchanted Ink & Play. By accessing or purchasing from our website (enchantedinkletters.com.au), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General

  • This website is operated by Enchanted Ink & Play (“we,” “our,” “us”).
  • By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms.
  • We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase or booking applies.

2. Products & Services

  • All products are described as accurately as possible; however, slight variations may occur.
  • Many of our products are personalised and made to order, and therefore may not be returned for change of mind (see section 5).
  • Seconds or Sale items are sold “as-is” and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
  • Colours, scents, and textures of handmade sensory play products may vary slightly from images shown.

3. Ordering & Payment

  • By placing an order, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • Payment must be made in full at checkout.
  • We accept [list payment methods you accept — e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal].
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all personalisation details (names, ages, notes) are entered correctly at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for errors supplied by the customer

4. Shipping

  • Orders are shipped via Australia Post or other carriers.
  • Turnaround times and delivery estimates are provided on our website but are not guaranteed.
  • Once orders are lodged with Australia Post, we are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused in transit. We will assist customers in lodging claims where possible.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (including natural disasters, strikes, postal disruptions, or other force majeure events).

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

  • Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a refund or replacement if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
  • Due to the personalised nature of our letters and keepsakes, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind or customer input errors.
  • Any issues with orders must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
  • For non-personalised products (e.g. sensory play, décor), refunds or replacements are available only for faulty or damaged items.
  • Sale and Seconds items are final and not eligible for return or exchange.


6. Play Sessions (Enchanted Play)

  • Enchanted Play sessions are designed as guided play experiences, not supervised childcare. Parents/guardians must remain with their child at all times and are responsible for their child’s safety and behaviour.
  • Activities may include sensory bases, water play, paint, playdough, or other hands-on materials. These activities can be messy; please dress children appropriately.
  • While every effort is made to ensure safe materials and equipment, Enchanted Ink & Play is not liable for accidents, injuries, allergic reactions, or damage to personal items that may occur during a session.
  • Bookings are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date/session with 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or end a session early in cases of unsafe behaviour, illness, or disruption.
  • We may take photos/videos during sessions for marketing purposes. Participation is optional — please inform us if you do not wish your child to be included.

7. Sensory Play Products

  • Our sensory play products (playdough, fizzes, bases, etc.) are intended for supervised play only.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years due to choking hazards.
  • Products are non-toxic but are not food items and should not be consumed.
  • Ingredient lists are available on request. Parents/guardians are responsible for checking for potential allergens.
  • Products should be stored in a cool, dry place, out of reach of young children and pets.
  • Enchanted Ink & Play is not responsible for misuse of sensory play products.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this site, including text, images, graphics, logos, and product designs, are the property of Enchanted Ink & Play and are protected by copyright law.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Enchanted Ink & Play shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.
  • Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
